We have analyzed the frequency, nature and severity of the late effects of childhood cancer treatment in the Slovene population. About 50% of former patients have no evidence of late effects at this point, but a certain number of these are expected to emerge in later follow-up. We also present an attempted classification of late effects, necessarily subjective.
